Sukhbir Singh Badal, president of Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab, has demanded from the government that farmers should be compensated for crop damage at the earliest. Speaking at a public rally in Israna, Panipat, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said that the concerned Deputy Commissioners are instructed to assess the damage.
