Farmers will also produce electricity along with crops in the fields, will get subsidy from the government!!

Farmers grow different types of crops in the fields. If you are told that now farmers will generate electricity along with fruits and vegetables, then you will be a little surprised. But now it is going to happen. Work on this has started in Delhi. With the efforts of the Delhi government, farmers will now produce electricity along with the crop in the fields in the coming days. Farmers will use electricity for their agricultural work and will be able to sell it if there is more. This will increase their income.

Actually, the Chief Minister's Agricultural Income Augmentation Project is going on in Delhi. Under this, the work of setting up solar units in the fields has been started. This is the first project of its kind in the country. Under this, solar panels will be installed at a height of 10 to 15 feet from the ground and below them the cultivation will continue as before. With the electricity generated from solar panels, farmers will not only be able to do their agricultural work, but they will also be able to sell the remaining electricity to power companies.

Generating 400 units of electricity per day

This project has been started from Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Ujwa, Delhi. Dr Rakesh Kumar, a horticulturist here, says, we have installed a 110 kW solar power plant. Right now it is summer season and the days are getting longer, so produce around 350 to 400 units per day and send it to the electricity grid. Along with all the vegetables, solar system has been installed in Ujwa. Kumar says that this does not cause any problem in the work of farming.

It is believed that if farmers adopt this experiment and do agricultural work along with setting up solar systems in their fields, then their income will be doubled. According to a report by DD Kisan, a solar plant will earn a farmer an income of up to Rs 6 lakh.

One acre will have additional income of one lakh rupees

When this plant, being set up at Delhi's Krishi Vigyan Kendra, will start functioning, it will be shown to the farmers and will be motivated to do farming with solar system. This plant will be able to generate 110 kilowatts of electricity.

After the success of the project started under the pilot project, subsidy will also be given to the farmers by the government. Dr Rakesh Kumar says that farmers can install solar systems in the fields while cultivating cash crops by abandoning traditional farming. This will give them an additional income of at least one lakh rupees in one acre.
