New cotton have reached the Mandis of various cotton-producing states

So far, about 7 lakh bales of new cotton have reached the Mandis of various cotton-producing states of the country. Around 70,000 bales of cotton have been received

in the Mandis of various states daily and the cotton inflow was 59,500 bales on Saturday, which has increased to 70000 bales.


CCI (Cotton Corporation of India) will purchase from October 20 to Uchana. Only those farmers who have registered the registration of cotton crop will be purchased from those farmers. 

The only cotton with 8 to 12 percent moisture will be purchased. Rs 825 per quintal for moisture up to 8 percent, Rs 5667 per quintal up to 9 percent, Rs 5610 per quintal up to 10 percent, Rs 5553 per quintal up to 11 percent, Rs 5496 per quintal of cotton with up to 12 percent price to the farmer. In view of the arrival and increase in cotton in the coming days, the Cotton Ministry Limited (CCI), an undertaking of the Ministry of Textiles, has started purchasing white gold from farmers in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab at the minimum support price.


CCI According to sources, during the current cotton season year 2020-21, the Cotton Corporation of India Limited is going to buy 2 million bales of white gold directly from farmers over the previous year. This year the corporation will buy 1.25 crore bales of white gold in the country while last year the corporation bought one crore five lakh 14000 bales of white gold at the minimum support price.

Despite the increase in cotton inflows in the country, the Indian cotton market is trending fast. The market has gained Rs 100 - 150 per mind over the previous week. This boom has once again reduced the smile on the faces of cotton market bears.
