Apply for betel cultivation on grant

In order to increase the income of the farmers, horticulture crops are being promoted by the government, for this many schemes are being implemented. Grants are given to encourage farmers to cultivate betel in horticultural crops. Applications have been invited in the Madhya Pradesh Horticulture Department to encourage the farmers of selected districts of the state for the cultivation of betel leaves. 

Subsidy will be given for the cultivation of betel making bareja for betel cultivation. Under the scheme, the grant given on betel cultivation is being implemented by the Horticulture Department of the Central Government, Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna-Raftaar. Under which, according to the provision of the project in 500 square meters for the cultivation of betel with high technology, 35 percent grant amount 0.42 lakh is given at the unit cost amount of Rs 1.20 lakh for making betel and cultivating betel.

These farmers can apply: Under the National Agriculture Development Scheme, applications have been invited from the farmers of Satna district of Madhya Pradesh for the cultivation of betel leaves. Now under the scheme, farmers of general category of Satna district can apply. Interested farmers can apply online on 5 August 2021 from 11:00 AM. 

Documents required for the application-

To apply with the farmers, the following documents will have to be kept with them: - Photo, Aadhar card, Khasra number / B1 / copy of forest lease, bank passbook. 

Where to apply for betel cultivation on grant

Applications for betel production have been invited by the Horticulture and Food Processing Department of Madhya Pradesh under the Kisan Yojana of Madhya Pradesh.
