New Scheme will be implement in Haryana: CM

The 'Kisan Mitra' scheme will now be started soon in Haryana. This is because, the Haryana government will now encourage small farmers to do modern farming. And, 'Kisan Mitras' will be deployed in each village to guide the farmers. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced this. Khattar was addressing people through

'Haryana Ki Baat' program. There he said that, most of the farmers in the state are small holdings. In his interest, the state government is going to implement the 'Kisan Mitra' scheme in the state very soon.

Manohar Lal Khattar said that in the absence of awareness such farmers are doing farming by traditional methods. Kisan Mitras will be deployed in each village to help such farmers. These farmer friends will be progressive farmers. These farmers will not only give information about alternative agriculture to the farmers with small holdings, but will also tell about modern technology from seed, crop to sowing to harvesting. Khattar made it clear on the ongoing deadlock over the agricultural laws that Haryana and the central government would not implement the scheme by putting any pressure on the farmers. The decision will be taken which will be in the interest of the farmer.

Khattar urged all the farmers of Haryana to join my crop-mine details and said that in the coming time, many welfare schemes will be launched by the state government in the interest of farmers. Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing wheat procurement in the mandis of the state, the CM said that 60 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in the mandis so far. Out of which 55 lakh MT has been procured and more than 25 lakh MT has been lifted.
