Day 3 Nirmala Sitharaman announce the relief fund for farmers. Early she had announced on labour and entrepreneurs. Also some for salaried people.

Here are the important points announced by Finance Minster  

  • Setting up of Rs.1 lakh crore agriculture fund for farm gate infrastructure.
  • Rs. 4000 crore to promoting herbal cultivation in India.
  • Rs 10000 crore scheme for the formalization of micro food enterprises(MFE).
  • Rs 20000 crore for fishermen through Pardhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna.
  • Animal Husbandry infrastructure development fund worth of Rs 15000 crore.
  • Rs 500 crore scheme for infrastructure development related to bee-keeping.
  • Amendment to Essential commodities acts to enable better price realization for farmers.
  • Also on the Agriculture Marketing Reforms to provide marketing choices to farmers.
  • Extension of 'Operation Green' to all fruit and vegetables.
  • The legal framework to help farmers to fix their own price for products.
  • Launch for national Animal Disease Control Programme for foot and mouth disease with an outlay of Rs 13343 crore.
